Description

Vitex Doniana is an extremely common tree in Tropical Africa. Its wood is largely used to make fences whereas its leaves, bark and roots are used for medical purposes.

Vitex Doniana is found in Tropical Africa. It is present in the Great Green Wall of Africa.

Effect

The decoction of the leaves of Vitex Doniana is effective against many skin conditions such as measles, skin rashes or even chicken pox. Pastes are also made with the crushed leaves and bark which is then applied to wounds and burns.
