What Exactly Is a Micelle?
The term "micellar" comes from the Latin micella, a diminutive of mica (grain). A micelle is a nano-sized sphere made up of surfactant molecules—molecules with a dual nature: one part loves water (hydrophilic) and the other loves oils (lipophilic).
When these molecules are dissolved in water at a specific concentration, they spontaneously organize into tiny spheres: the oil-loving portions gather at the center (protected from the water), while the water-loving portions face outward. This self-organized molecular architecture is what gives micellar water its cleansing power.
⚗ Molecular Mechanism of Action
When you sweep a cotton pad soaked with micellar water across your face, the micelles come into contact with impurities and makeup (oils, sebum, and pollution residues).
The lipophilic portion of the surfactants penetrates and dissolves these oily substances, trapping them inside the hydrophobic core of the micelle. Once loaded with impurities, the micelle is then lifted away by the cotton pad without the need for scrubbing or rinsing.

Xylitol · Anhydroxylitol · Xylitylglucoside

Zinc PCA

Morning or Evening? Both!
