We know that these new restrictions related to the health crisis do not enchant you, but here are 5 tips to occupy your evenings and limit as much as possible this feeling " metro-work-sleep ".

1. Cook quick and gourmet recipes

Sometimes it's hard to be inspired for dinner after a long day at work. Thanks to the curfew, say goodbye to classic culinary recipes. Take the time to discover new fast and gourmet dishes. From gourmet dishes to world cuisines, there is a wide range to satisfy your taste buds and your family.

How can I save time in the kitchen and in my day ?

There are two ways to do this:

  • Cook your dinner and lunch the next day at the same time
  • Make " Meal prep " : Cook for 1h30 all the meals of the week. All that remains is to warm up. Convenient you don't find ?

The little + : Avoid meals that are too fatty, too rich or too spicy in the evening. They increase digestion time and your body temperature.  Choose light meals based on legumes, brown rice or fish. Rich in tryptophan, they will activate melatonin which is the sleep hormone.

2. Getting back into sport

You've wanted to get back to sports for months, but with your work schedules and gyms closed, it's complicated... Now you are at home much earlier and this is a very good reason to remotivate yourself! But where do you start ? 

Step 1 : Set goals

Your sports goal is personal, it can be to slim down, gain muscle mass or simply maintain yourcouvre-feu fitness maison shape. Be aware that two to three sessions of 30 minutes are enough to feel the positive effects of good physical activity. 

Step 2 : Exercises 

" I don't know what to do...  ". No more excuses !  Thanks to the internet, playing sports at home is possible ! Your smartphone can truly become your best trainer.

Do you need a defined program and regular monitoring? There are now virtual coaches on the internet or on mobile applications. Do you prefer personalized workouts ? With the help of YouTube videos or Instagram posts, create your own sequence of exercises.

Step 3 : Hardware

Don't panic, you can do sports without equipment using your body weight. For the bravest, the goal is not to invest thousands of euros. Leave room for your imagination. Replace gym dumbbells with water bottles or a backpack with sachets of rice, pasta etc. Or, your kickball by laundry for example.

3. Take time for yourself

  • Another evening for your skincare routine. Your skin should no longer have any secrets for you. Perform our skin diagnostics online and then carry out your complete routine. From scrub to mask to night cream, find clear, smooth and glowing skin. 
  • Finally, book an evening for your manicure. Is having flawless hands important to you ? From nail art to nude varnish, feel free to be beautiful and sublimated to the end of the nails.

Mom overwhelmed or not, after work, the meal and the shower comes the bar. We then tend to go to bed directly. Today your evenings are longer. Optimize your time and treat yourself to 10 to 20 minutes of daily relaxation. It is ideal to fight against mental fatigue!

Clear your mind of the stress or pressure accumulated during the day. You will recharge your batteries by getting a deep and restful sleep.

To each his preference : You can for example stretch, perform self-massages with or without equipment or do Yoga. Remember to breathe well slowly and calmly. To disconnect completely, background ambient music, dim light and even candles are ideal. The goal is to create a soothing environment.

5. Prepare for the return to normal life

When is the return to real life? One day or another, it will happen. In the meantime, take advantage of the curfew to prepare your future evenings and events.
