Aïmara, tell us first of all about the BE+RADIANCE brand
BE+RADIANCE is to be the radiance, the radiance, we are the Healthy Makeup for all skins.
We are a makeup brand that wants to take care of the skin with a very strong commitment to respecting the skin balance, from light skin to dark skin."
What types of products will you offer to women who visit your site ?
We are experts in complexion : today we offer healthy products to perfect the complexion.
First of all, we have the Velvet Effect Complexion Base. It is a colorless base with pomegranate extract, composed of 97% ingredients of natural origin, totally silicone-free, which has a velvet effect feel. We love its result because it gives a beautiful peach skin!
We also offer a Cucumber Water Foundation that is composed of 85% ingredients of natural origin and 60% water, which is obviously vegan, silicone-free, mineral oil-free. I insist on the silicone-free formulation: it lets the skin breathe!
We also have the set+GLOW Powder + Probiotic Illuminator duos that have been designed with 95% ingredients of natural origin. They are formulated without talc, without preservatives... And why without a preservative ? Because we put probiotics inside ! Encapsulated active probiotics, which will colonize the skin and strengthen the skin microbiome.
Finally, we developed the color+GLOW Blush + Probiotic Illuminator duos, which are also active probiotics. The colors range from pink to plum, through orange and red, to suit all skin tones.
Today we have 4 products available in several colors. And it's not over ! The brand will obviously expand further with many beautiful things in the months and years to come !
What are the problems that the women who contact you most try to address and what solutions can you provide them ?
Today, I would say that women who are looking for makeup that is respectful of the skin, are often women who have certain skin problems. I often have requests from women who have pimples, or who have had them, and who don't want to have them anymore.
We also have more and more customers who come to us because they want to have makeup that highlights them, that sublimates their skin, but that will not hide it like a mask. These women want to have this side " My skin, but better "
Finally, there are also those women who have heard of cleaner makeup and want to try new, innovative makeup textures that are good for the skin.
What were the main difficulties in offering healthy and clean makeup suitable for pigmented skin?
I've been working on makeup products for black and mixed-race skin for several years.
One of the main difficulties is to go even further than just " finding a color that suits us". It is to find the textures that are adapted, and especially in makeup that is more natural. Today, there is not yet much choice in clean or more natural makeup: once in two it is too heavy, too fat. Unfortunately, when we want to formulate without silicones or mineral oils, we will be tempted to replace them with fatty substances, and in general, on a more pigmented skin, it is too rich. I think the most difficult thing is to find the right materials, the ones that are suitable for pigmented skin.
The other difficulty lies in all these powders and materials that will bring a gray or white side. We need things that are pigmented, but pigmented in transparency."
What is your best makeup tip for our " OYA " ?
" I would tend to say ' Less is More ' ! Try to find a foundation that will allow you to unify without masking, and that allows you to work as much the shadow areas, as the areas that are lighter.
