Can you introduce yourself in a few words?

I am Liliane MUKABATESI, beautician, cosmetician, graduated from the Academy of Makeup and Global Beauty Annick CAYOT and MEDICO DERM, microblading and permanent makeup.

Tell us about your shop and how your project was born

I had long wanted to make my country benefit from my European professional experience, I went to Kigali to examine the possibilities that I had in my field ie cosmetics and skincare.

My choice fell on the opening of a beauty center, I started with a shop area selling cosmetics made in Europe, just original products, but soon the need for care is are made feel and I had the opportunity to expand my business. I also do nails, makeup and skin treatments, especially face.

It needed a name, a logo, what was done LiLi Kosmetik! We started in November 2017 and today we are about to open our 4th beauty center.

What are the most common needs of black, dull and mixed-race women who come to see you?

One of the biggest worries of the women who come to LiLi Kosmetik is that very often they have been badly advised, they use inappropriate products, copies of big marks which generates serious sequels, rebellious stains, premature aging skin etc.

In a classic situation, the most common cases are oily skin, dry skin, hydration and deep cleansing of the skin before any treatment, and in any case, we do a skin examination and eating habits before advising and / or treating.
