Enantia chlorantha is a tree of 12 to 30m of height with a smooth, thick, yellow bark with a very bitter taste. The flowers are green and fleshy. The fruits resemble olives.
This Enatia is quite common in the undergrowth of the dense humid forest of Southern Nigeria’s Angola. It is also found in Tropical Africa (Cameroon, Gabon, Congo).
Enantia chlorantha is often used in the treatment of skin conditions. In addition to its astringent properties, the bark of Enanthia chlorantha can effectively fight against a wide range of skin problems.
